Do you need internet?
Initially yes. The controllers must first link to the server to download the data for the venue and update any changes that may have been made to the menu. After the initial setup only intermittent Internet access is required.
How many iPads can the system run?
As many as you you want.
What printers are compatible?
Meza supports Star printers! The models are the TSP-100 LAN, TSP-650II and the mPOP printer/cashdrawer. These can print logos and custom text that can be changed whenever you like!

We also support other printers. Contact us for details.

How safe is my information in the cloud?
All data is encrypted and transported over https ensuring that only you can access information about your restaurant.
Can a customer order a coffee on the way to my coffee shop?
Yes, customers can use our mobile App to place orders even when they are not in the venue.
Can I print a receipt from the tablet?
You can print a receipt, an order and a report from your iPad.
What reports does it generate?
Because every action on the system is date and time stamped, you can get a report from just about everything. There are a list of currently available reports.
Does it support an accounting program?
Yes! We’re integrated with Xero.
Can I set everything up myself?
The system is designed with that in mind. The whole idea is simplicity and user friendliness. User guides are also available to you.
How do I get the menu on my iPad?
Creating and editing the menu is part of the setup process on the website.
Does the iPad App process credit card transactions?
Not yet, you will need a seperate EFT POS machine to handle swipe or chips based payment cards.
Can customers move from one table to another?
Yes, this feature exists in our solution
Can waiters use smartphones to take orders & receive alerts?
No, not yet. Staff must use iPads for the time being.
